The last time I ran consistently was in May. I was training for a half marathon. A couple of weeks before the race I started having sharp pains in my ankle. There was no doubt something was wrong. The last thing I wanted to do was miss the race. I had worked to hard to miss it because of an injury. Plus, my friends that were running with me would have been disappointed. Not to say they would not have understood. After the race I ran one 5k and have not run over a mile since. I miss running and I'm going to start again this week. Over the last month or so I have been walking, but it's just not the same. My running buddy's want to start getting together again and I will be joining them. I'm going to start off slow, but I would like to run another half marathon.

I'm still struggling to get back on track with my running. I did about 1.10 miles last night in about 10 minutes. It felt good. I just wish I would have had more time to do a longer run.
